The Oxford School, one of the top schools in Thiruvananthapuram, run by the Manarul Huda Trust, a charitable trust registered in India, wanted to promote a textbook-free schooling environment.
With the technical support provided by Samsung, an app designed by our e-commerce website app development agency in Dubai, was introduced to the school. The designed mobile app for schools, made the classroom experience more interactive for teachers and students. The Assessment Module on the Learning Management Collaborative Platform digitised the examination process, while Knox API’s Kiosk Mode was used to lock the screen, so students couldn’t switch between apps during their exam. The mobile app for schools is totally under the control of the management. Thus, with the partnership of Samsung, we built a solution for the school.
To enhance monitoring and control cyber-bullying, the content accessed and typed by students on the tablets was monitored and restrictions were applied on the IP using Knox Security provided by Samsung was made by our custom software development company. With the help of our app development agency in Dubai, Knox SDK provided the much-needed SD card encryption.
Students could read and watch videos from their syllabus anywhere through the app. Moreover, with the Knox API locking device screens, the exams were held in a secured environment and the teachers could grade the students easily and more efficiently. Thus, teachers could control the devices inside the classroom intuitively and could see the minute details on students’ devices, even the battery information.
Restrictions are also applied on IP, using the Knox to increase cyber transparency and restrained cyberbullying. Therefore, the SD card encryption enabled by the Knox SDK added another level of security to students’ and teachers’ devices.
